Briar oaks inn was built in the 1930's by a prominent local businessman on four acres of picturesque woods overlooking Beaver Creek. He acquired beautiful oak floors from mansions that were being torn down in Ann Arbor for the expansion of the University of Michigan. Throughout Briar Oaks Inn you will see the beauty and fine craftsmanship used in building this romantic getaway.

We, purchased Briar Oaks Inn in 2000. We are always excited to greet our guest, because we have made some wonderful friends from near and far. We hope we have the chance to greet you and share our lovely Inn with you.

The Innkeepers

As your hosts we welcome you into our home. Your comfort is our first concern. Let us know in advance of any allergy or special diet requirements and we will be only too happy to accommodate your needs.

I am a native of the Adrian area and can offer suggestions on the local attractions and resaurants. For our German-speaking guests my wife speaks fluent German.
